If I bought computer gifts for friends and family, I would buy RW drive.
For family, we have optional tools such as digital camera, web camera, microphone, however, we don't have any pc that can play DVD. Moreover, our PCs can't write anything into blank discs.
I feel very inconvenient about my PC so do my siblings.
For my family, we like listening to music but we can't keep back up all the music that we have in PC, so I want RW drive the most. In addition, I guess I will need RW drive for academic programs somehow. I am seriously thinking of buying RW not only for me but also my family because we can share it and have some fun.
For friend, I would buy game or some optional programs (such as photoshop or degital camera) that she is interested in. My friend has very advanced skills of computer and she learns computer at her university so I think if she wants something about computer, I would give her somthing advanced and additional program.
